Savandara Arellano, Managing Director of SavAngh- Advisors & Services Limited, ("SAS"). Born in Laos, she was educated in France and in the United States. She speaks fluent Lao, English and French and can communicate in some more Asian and European languages.

Her B.A. in Political Science was interrupted by the desire to go into business on her own in Laos. These efforts were initially focused in the tourism industry, resulting in, among other things, the co-authoring of the Laos Guidebook for the French publisher Le Petite Futé.


The company, at that time named SavanDhara HongKong Laos Representative Office, was established in 1999. SavAngh-Advisors & Services Limited was fully licensed in 2001 as one of the few authorised 100% Foreign-Owned business and investment consulting Company .

 

Angus Forsyth, Hong Kong Liaison and Director of SavAngh- Advisors & Services Limited, a practicing commercial lawyer resident in Hong Kong since 1971. Mr. Forsyth is a Founding Partner of the law firm Stevenson, Wong & Co., Hong Kong and has been active in the development of businesses and investment for emerging economies in Asia for many years and has business activities in China, Russia and other countries in addition to Laos.

Mr. Angus Forsyth's legal specialisations are Commercial and Company, Mergers and Acquisitions, Insurance, Securities and Futures Regulatory Law, Immigration, Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds, Intellectual Property and Internet law.

  • Bounlouane Vongpraseut
    is a Lao national with tertiary education in Russia; he speaks fluent Lao, Russian, English and some French. Mr. Bounlouane Vongpraseut has a variety of management experience before joining the firm in 2003: these included Administrative Manager of a Hydropower Dam Contruction Site for the Italian company, Recchi. He now holds the position of General Manager of SavAngh-Advisors & Services Office in Vientiane.

  • One-Sy Boutsivongsakd, Board Member and Treasurer of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI); President of the Lao Textile and Garment Industry Group, in charge of implementation of Bilateral Textile Agreement and GSP with EU and EFTA and MFN with USA; Vice Chairman of Social Security Organization for Enterprise; and Member of Lao National Committee for the Elimination of Child Labour (ILO-IPEC).

    Mr. Ony-Sy Boutsivongsakd is Lao national, who spent several years of study and training in France, Japan and Germany.

  • Bounsavang Philasayphithak, MBA of Thammasat University, Thailand, 1998. Master of Science in Mathematics from USSR, 1998 (Programmer for Fortran Language). Certified in International Accounting from RBAC-1998. Certified in New Lao Banking Accountancy Instruction from the Bank of Lao PDR- 1997. Certified of Lao Accountancy from RBAC-1989.
